A number of our senior veterinary surgeons provide dedicated Thoroughbred and Sport Horse consultancy services, as well as offering expert opinion for insurance and legal cases.

Thoroughbreds

We provide equine veterinary consultancy services for our own clients, including racehorse owners and racing/stud managers, and for the wider thoroughbred industry.

Our services can be tailored to your requirements and can include foal and yearling inspections, and at bloodstock sales throughout UK, Europe and further afield on request.

Sport Horses

Our specialist sport horse clinicians at the Diagnostic Centre have extensive experience with sport horses across all equestrian disciplines, particularly in eventing, showjumping and dressage, and can provide a number of on yard services to clients.

Surgical and medical services at referring practices

Our team of experienced specialists at the Hospital and Diagnostic Centre are able to offer consultations to be undertaken at referring veterinary practices, or at clients’ yards. We provide a range of surgical and medical services and work closely with referring practices to provide the highest level of care.

Professional insurance services

A number of Rossdales veterinary surgeons have extensive experience dealing with bloodstock, sports horse and other equine insurance matters. We are available to assist brokers, agents and underwriters with advice prior to placement, when managing potential and handling claims.
