Rossdales Laboratories is one of the largest and internationally most respected specialist equine diagnostic laboratories. With state-of-the-art lab facilities and technology, we offer the most comprehensive range of diagnostic tests available for referring veterinary surgeons throughout the UK and further afield.
Our team is led by RCVS Specialists in Veterinary Pathology, with dedicated and experienced laboratory technicians, and expert analysis by our Specialists in Equine Internal Medicine, delivering rapid, reliable results.

Our new laboratory facilities were completed in early 2020 with further expansion that year to include a dedicated virus isolation and tissue culture suite, which was completed the following spring.
The laboratory technical staff has increased considerably over the years, with many long serving members of the team proving key to our success, and of course some valuable newer team members, including in 2021 three former members of the Animal Health Trust (AHT) technical staff.
Continual investment in new technology, testing methods and training of our team, coupled with providing a comprehensive, reliable service with quick turnaround times, will ensure that our laboratory maintains its position as a leader amongst equine diagnostic laboratories.
