Congratulations to Vicky Colgate, who has been awarded an MSc in Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health from the University of London.
Vicky, who is Clinical Research Assistant at Rossdales Equine Hospital, completed her Masters degree course in December and has recently received her certificate. Due to ongoing Covid restrictions, there will be a ‘virtual’ graduation ceremony this year, to be held in July.
Vicky joined Rossdales in June 2017 as the Margaret Giffen Resident in Clinical Research and subsequently has stayed on in her current role to drive forward the practices’ research initiatives and corresponding application of evidence-based medicine. She has a special interest in the care and welfare of sports horses, in particular the treatment and prevention of fracture pathology, as well as the more global prevention of the emergence and spread of infectious diseases.
