We're very pleased to welcome back Vanessa Peter, who has rejoined the practice as Head of Diagnostic Imaging at Rossdales Equine Diagnostic Centre.
Vanessa has spent the last ten months as Senior Lecturer and Clinician responsible for the Large Animal Diagnostic Service at the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Bern, Switzerland, the university from which she graduated in 2011.
After graduating, Vanessa undertook internships at Rossdales and at a large equine hospital in Florida, USA, before returning to our Diagnostic Centre in 2013 as an orthopaedic assistant. She has a keen interest in all diagnostic imaging modalities and is passionate about their use in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders in particular.
Vanessa has successfully completed her residency in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging with the European College (ECVDI) and her theoretical board exams. She completed her residency under the guidance of veterinary specialists at Rossdales Equine Diagnostic Centre and Dick White Specialist Referrals. She said: "I'm delighted to be back at Rossdales and am very excited about my new position. I hope to further enhance our world class imaging service at Rossdales Diagnostic Centre."
