Our ‘Time for a Cuppa’ event at Rossdales Equine Hospital on Wednesday, 25th July has raised a magnificent £1000 for Dementia UK.
A huge thank you to our very generous staff, clients and the Rossdales partners, who supported this event by coming along and enjoying a vast array of delicious home made cakes, washed down with a cup on tea, soft drinks or a glass or Prosecco, in return for a donation.
The event was organised by hospital secretary Beth Howard, whose grandmother was the inspiration for this fundraising event. Beth said: “I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported this event - those colleagues who have baked so many wonderful cakes, everyone who came along on the day and those who simply made a donation. My beautiful Nan suffered from dementia - so many families are affected by this cruel disease and the money we have raised will go towards funding specially trained Admiral Nurses, who help those living with dementia and provide invaluable support to their families.”
