Rossdales is proud to be a sponsor at the twelfth International Symposium on Equine Reproduction (ISER XII), which is taking place at Churchill College, Cambridge on 22nd - 26th July 2018.
This prestigious 4-yearly conference returns to Cambridge, where the first symposium was held back in 1974. Since then, these meetings have continued to act both as a stimulus for new scientific investigations and as the forum where scientists and veterinary practitioners engaged in the theory and practicalities of breeding horses efficiently can keep up to date with the latest research and inspire further research endeavours. The 11 previous ISER meetings have stimulated the development and practical application of many of the present day diagnostic and therapeutic techniques which have revolutionised horse breeding worldwide.
In addition to the symposium, there is a Veterinary Practitioner Day and Horse Breeders Day at Tattersalls on Saturday, 28th July. This will be a joint session held in parallel. One session will be aimed at horse breeders wishing to learn more about all aspects of modern broodmare and stallion management. The other session will be aimed at veterinary surgeons who work in the field of equine reproduction. With a list of speakers with international reputations in their specific fields, this is a rare gathering of expertise which coincides with the international gathering of veterinary researchers for ISER XII in the preceding week.
