Our team at the Diagnostic Centre recently received a lovely surprise in the form of boxes of delicious cupcakes from Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging to mark the imaging team’s busiest month ever in June, when they carried out MRI scans on 55 horses.
Vanessa Peter, who is Head of Diagnostic Imaging, said “I'm extremely proud of the team. Everyone has worked very hard and the number of scans we undertook in June was the highest we have ever carried out in a single month during the past 10 years.”
Rossdales has offered an MRI service since 2006 and has an international reputation for experience with all breeds and disciplines of horses. Vanessa, who is an RCVS recognised Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, and Dr Rachel Murray, who is also a veterinary specialist and a recognised authority on MRI, read MRI and CT images for other veterinary clinics in the UK and in Europe.
