The Rossdales Hertfordshire Winter Dressage Championships took place at Bury Farm Equestrian Village on Sunday, 19th April and members of the Herts team (Susanna Ballinger, Amanda Boulton, Elaine Crockett, Sharon Machin and Debbie Macer), together with vet Carolin Gerdes and vet technician Carly Briggs from Rossdales Equine Diagnostic Centre, were on hand to present prizes and congratulate the winners and the placed riders throughout the day. Class winners were presented with a Rossdales Hertfordshire rug, with runners up receiving a first aid kit and third placed competitors receiving a set of dressage bandages, plus some additional 'goodies' organised by Chiltern & Thames Rider Magazine.
This was our third year of sponsoring these Championships and it was a very successful day, with competitors taking part in 16 championship classes ranging from intro to medium and dressage to music classes. Our thanks go to the team at Chiltern & Thames Rider Magazine, who worked so hard to ensure that the day ran smoothly and was enjoyed by all who attended.
Rossdales Hertfordshire Partner Susanna Ballinger said: "We are very pleased to have once again been title sponsor of these Championships, which give amateur competitors the opportunity to compete in championship classes at a prestigious venue. The tests on Sunday were performed to a high standard - congratulations to all the winners, and indeed to everyone who took part in making the day such a success."
