We’re delighted to welcome back Catriona Mackenzie, who has returned to the hospital to join our medicine team. Cat has spent the past 3 years at the University of Liverpool Veterinary School undertaking a residency in Equine Internal Medicine, where she has been working towards achieving European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM) diplomate status. During her time at Liverpool, she has dealt with a wide variety of medicine cases, including a large number of ophthalmology, colic and intensive care patients.
Cat, who was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Equine Medicine (CertAVP(EM)) in 2014, originally joined Rossdales in 2009 as an intern, upon completion of which she worked as a member of our ambulatory stud farm team.
Cat said: “The past three years have really flown by and I am very excited to be back as part of the team at Rossdales.”
