Congratulations to Dr Gail Chapman, who has passed her exams at first sitting to become a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists.
Gail joined Rossdales Laboratories at the start of 2022 following on from her residency training at University of Glasgow and strengthens our growing team of dedicated pathologists, medicine specialists and laboratory staff.
She qualified from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh in 2004 and after 10 years in predominantly equine practice, she undertook a PhD in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health at the University of Liverpool, funded by The Horse Trust, investigating aspects of potential future risk to UK equines posed by mosquito-borne viruses. She then provided 6 months cover as a research pathologist at APHA, with involvement in production animal diagnostic histopathology, before completing 3.5 years of residency training in veterinary pathology.
Well done Gail, on this fantastic achievement!
