Chartered Physiotherapist and Veterinary Physiotherapist
Kate qualified as a physiotherapist in Australia in 1995 and has been treating horses since 1997. She completed an MSc at the Royal Veterinary College in 2009, achieving a pass with distinction and the accolade of first place and best research.
She currently specialises in physiotherapy for the Thoroughbred racehorse in training and has been working with Rossdales since 2003. She splits her working week between treating racehorses and her role as an officer in the Army Reserve, providing physiotherapy to injured soldiers.
Kate is also a clinical educator for the University of Liverpool on the MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy programme and is often invited to present at conferences in the UK and abroad.
Kate is available to see racehorses for Rossdales clients on Mondays and Fridays.
