Jane is a member of our ambulatory sport and leisure horse team in Newmarket. She qualified from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in 2003 and worked in an equine practice in Scotland for 5 years after graduating, before venturing across the world to work in Australia for 6 months. On returning to the UK, Jane worked at an equine practice in Hertfordshire for 7 years before taking a career break to have her three children.
She returned to equine practice at the beginning of 2021, working at Cambridge Veterinary School before joining Rossdales in September of the same year. Jane also works at Tattersalls as part of the ID veterinary team, a role she has carried out since 2019.
Jane enjoys all aspects of general equine practice but her main interests are medicine and stud work – particularly reproduction in sport horses (chilled and frozen AI).
Jane has competed up to intermediate level eventing and currently has several horses and children’s ponies at home, and spends most of her weekends at Pony Club!
