Holly joined our Newmarket stud team in February 2024. After graduating from the University of Liverpool Veterinary School in July 2022 she undertook an 18-month rotating internship at Rainbow Equine Hospital. During that time, she gained experience of working across a range of disciplines, with both thoroughbreds and sport horses, and this led to her decision to pursue a career in equine reproduction and stud medicine.
Although Holly enjoys all aspects of stud work, she has a particular interest in neonatal foal care. She hopes that with the experience she will gain working as an intern with our stud team, she will be able to progress to undertaking a residency in equine reproductive medicine and secure a placement for a southern hemisphere stud season.
When she’s not working, Holly enjoys riding and is also keen surfer and paddleboarder, often accompanied on the paddleboard by the family’s working cocker, Betty!
