Secretary/Receptionist (Full-time) - Rossdales Equine Diagnostic Centre
We are seeking a first-class secretary who can also provide a warm reception to clients of our Diagnostic Centre.
You are an accurate typist and comfortable with the use of computerised diary systems. You are organised, efficient and articulate with good spoken and written English, which is reflected in excellent telephony and interpersonal skills. As a front of house representative of Rossdales LLP, your ability to be caring, welcoming and calm under pressure will be a valuable asset to our practice.
Working within a small team you will be responsible for:
- Full secretarial and administration support to specialist equine veterinary surgeons, including audio typing of clinical reports and non-clinical correspondence whilst maintaining confidentiality.
- Communicating with clients and referring veterinary surgeons to arrange appointments and co-ordinate the relevant bookings for diagnostic procedures and clinical tests etc.
- Booking in cases and welcoming clients on arrival, registering new patients and maintaining correct records on our diary system.
- Processing internal and external calls and messages.
This is a busy, hands-on role where you will need to demonstrate commitment and a passion for your work and be sensitive to the challenges of communicating with owners of horses who may be sick or injured. Previous secretarial/administration experience is essential. Knowledge of the veterinary/medical and equine industry will be advantageous.
