Referring veterinarians should provide us with a full case history for any case they are referring, including the results of any diagnostic procedures they have already undertaken and any treatment or medication that the horse has received.
Following diagnostic examinations, our clinician overseeing the case will discuss with the horse owner and the referring veterinarian, our results and any treatment undertaken, together with any management and treatment that the horse will need following discharge.
Depending on the outcome of the examination, we will prepare a final (technical) report and a copy will be sent to the referring veterinarian and to the horse owner. If applicable, the referring veterinarian will receive copies of radiographs, MRI images or bone scans.
