Corrective Farriery

Renowned Newmarket farrier Simon Curtis is our consultant and has a forge at the hospital, where he and members of his team who specialise in remedial and corrective shoeing work closely with our veterinary surgeons.

Simon is the first and, to date, the only farrier to be made an Honorary Associate of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons - the highest honour possible for the College to award to anyone who is not a veterinary surgeon.
