Performance Horses

In recent years there has been enormous growth in the number of performance horses in the UK and we have numerous local, national and international clients who compete at all levels in such diverse disciplines as eventing, endurance, showjumping, showing and polo.

In addition to servicing our own clients' needs, we offer a referral service to other practices who wish to refer cases for lameness investigation, the investigation and treatment of respiratory tract abnormalities and other medical and surgical conditions. Some of our clinicians travel abroad in their roles as team veterinarian, or as veterinary advisers to organisers of international events.

We aim to provide accurate diagnostic information on which to base decisions for treatment and prognosis. We can utilise procedures such as nerve blocking, nuclear scintigraphy, MRI, CT, ultrasonography, diagnostic surgery, cardiac doppler and ECG examinations, laboratory facilities and dialogue with other specialist clinicians from all parts of the globe to achieve this.
