Rossdale & Partners continued the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of their foundation with a party for their staff, spouses and friends at Swynford Paddocks Hotel on Friday 22nd January, with 190 people attending.
Managing Partner Nick Wingfield Digby paid tribute to the vital role that every one of the Practice’s now more than 100 lay staff have played in its development and success over the fifty years. Peter Rossdale reminisced and presented all those who had worked for the practice for sixteen years and more a specially labelled bottle of champagne. They were:
Kath Gifkins (cytology and histology) 39 years
Jenny Goodchild (senior accounts secretary) 35 years
Robert Cash (senior laboratory scientist) 33 years
Kevin Grimes (bacteriology) 31 years
Sally Green (senior hospital secretary) 26 years
Helen Pringle (senior hospital accounts secretary) 25 years
Mary Ashpole (senior laboratory secretary) 24 years
Tricia Burnip (endocrinology and virology) 23 years

Josie Meehan (senior radiographer) 21 years
Trina Stanbridge (senior hospital yard person) 17 years
Bonny Millar (senior hospital nurse) 17 years
Caroline Csaba (credit control manager) 16 years
The Partners are particularly proud of the large number of long-serving and exceptionally loyal staff, that are testament to the ‘happy ship’ that is our practice.
Nick also paid tribute to Annalisa Barrelet who has worked in both stud practice and pathology for 21 years, John East, who has worked with our accounts department since the practice’s foundation 50 years ago and is an important link in our relationship with the Exning Estates, Jeanne Razzell of Systems Support who, with her team have developed and supported our Eclipse practice and imaging management IT system, Nick Kelly, our hospital administrator, Peter Stockbridge, our in-house accountant and Deidre Carson, who will become the next President of the British Equine Veterinary Association.
The evening was a great success and everyone now looks forward to Rossdale & Partners’ next 50 years, with optimism and enthusiasm.
