Sarah Gayer wins Rossdales competition at BEVA Congress

BEVA Congress is over for another year and as usual it was a busy few days for our vets and also for our tradestand team, who were running our competition to win a place on the Rossdales Foal Care Course 2018.

This year’s Congress took place in Liverpool. A number of our vets were involved with the Scientific Programme and practical demonstrations, including Andy Bathe, Tim Barnett, Celia Marr, Alastair Foote, Tim Greet and Imogen Comyn and we've received some great feedback from delegates.

Our tradestand competition once again proved popular, with the incentive of  the chance to win a place on the Rossdales Foal Care Course on offer.  The laboratory-themed competition entitled 'Horse, Hound or Human?' challenged delegates to correctly identify equine samples from microscope images that showed equine, canine and human options.  The winner was Sarah Gayer of Lisadell Equine Hospital, Ireland, who said afterwards: “I’m so pleased and so surprised to have won and am really looking forward to attending the course.”  Her prize was presented by Rossdales Laboratories' veterinary pathologist Jill Bryan.
