Beaufort Cottage Laboratories, a private equine practice clinical pathology laboratory, was initiated in 1968 by Peter Rossdale and Leo Mahaffey, the eminent equine pathologist. Following Leo's untimely death in 1971, Peter Rossdale, Sidney Ricketts, Annalisa Barrelet and Sarah Stoneham, in particular, have steadily developed the laboratory's services to meet increasing demands for an efficient, cost-effective specialist clinical pathology service, for Newmarket clients and for colleagues throughout the UK and EU. The laboratory's service is tailored for the particular needs of equine practitioners and provides experienced clinical and pathological advice.
