Isolation

We have a dedicated isolation facility separate from our Hospital, for cases with, or under investigation for, contagious equine infectious diseases. We always like to have cases of diarrhoea admitted after negative culture of a sample for Salmonella species. However an emergency colitis patient can be admitted without this perquisite, by agreement with the duty clinician.
