Intensive Care

In addition to our neonatal foal care unit, the Hospital has six dedicated specially insulated and heated intensive care stables, with facilities for intensive fluid therapy. These stables are used for horses during their immediate post-surgical periods and for others who require constant monitoring, therapy and care, so the postoperative care of abdominal and other critical care patients has been greatly facilitated.
