Course Description

An exciting and comprehensive programme has been designed to offer delegates a unique perspective from a diverse group of speakers with a wealth of experience from around the globe. The lectures will cover new ground and expand on, rather than repeat, themes set in previous years. Michael Schramme, Sue Dyson and Carter Judy, seminal in the development of equine high-field MRI and now also users of standing magnets will be sharing their experiences with both systems. Jean Marie Denoix and Mathieu Spriet will emphasise the value of assimilating knowledge from comparative imaging techniques such as computed tomography and ultrasonography to contextualise MRI pathology. We are excited to welcome Professor Adrian Dixon, Professor of Radiology at Cambridge University, to the speaker list this year. Steve Roberts, Filip Vandenberghe, Marcus Head and Thorben Schulze complete the extensive line up, returning with new slants on issues that really count to MRI practitioners. The small-group image reading sessions offer delegates real-time reading challenges with the experts and practical ultrasonography of the foot with the inimitable Jean Marie Denoix.

The course is designed for veterinary surgeons currently using MRI, or those who have attended previous courses and wish to take their knowledge to the next level.

The course is complemented by the content of the Clinical Application of Biologic and Regenerative Equine Therapies Course, which will run at Rossdales immediately after the MRI course on 15th and 16th August*. Concessions are available for delegates wishing to register for both courses.
