Course Description

This post-Olympic course is aimed at experienced practitioners and aims to bridge the gap between scientific principles and clinical usage. It is not commercially biased and we aim to cut through the hype and try to determine the current state of knowledge regarding the application of these new therapies. The speakers have a huge amount of research and clinical experience in this field, backgrounds in both academia and practice, and an international perspective. Whilst scientific principles will be used as a basis for understanding the use of stem cells, IRAP, PRP etc, the emphasis will be upon sharing experiences in their practical applications. Practicalities of treatment, case and modality selection and potential complications will be discussed. Evidence-based medicine from clinical case series and experimental studies will be presented. There will be ample time for discussion and interaction, and delegates are encouraged to bring along cases for discussion.
