Shared Visit Scheme

Our new Shared Visit Scheme offers new and existing clients of our ambulatory practice a 50% reduction on our normal visit charges. Mark Grant will be the primary veterinary surgeon responsible for carrying out appointments generated through the scheme, which complements our existing services. Our normal and emergency services offered to all our Thoroughbred racing and stud clients and to our non-Thoroughbred clients will continue to operate as usual.

The area covered by our ambulatory practice has been separated into 3 regions and on one day per week a Rossdales veterinary surgeon will be in that region. The 3 regions are:

  • TUESDAY : North
    Ely, Brandon, Thetford
  • WEDNESDAY : Southwest
    Cambridge, Saffron Waldon, Haverhill
  • THURSDAY : East
    Bury St Edmunds

The scheme is designed to encompass all routine examinations (e.g. vaccinations, teeth, bandage changes, x-rays, health checks etc) but will not be available for emergency call-outs, pre-purchase examinations, or more complex or prolonged investigations.

Booking a Visit

You can take advantage of the Shared Visit Scheme by booking before 5pm the day before the visit is required by. This can be done by:

You can express a preference for a morning (8.30am-1.00pm) or afternoon (1.00pm-5.00pm) appointment and we will do our best to accommodate you, but the actual time of the visit will be confirmed by the practice in accordance with our workload in your region. If you call the practice (01638 663150) between 8.00-8.30am on the morning of your visit, we will be able to give you a more accurate estimate of the time when the veterinary surgeon will be with you.

Appointments under the Shared Visit Scheme cannot be booked with a specific veterinary surgeon. Should you require an appointment with a particular clinician, these are still available at the standard visit rate we currently operate.
